The Niese family
has boiled maple sap
for seven generations.
We are the oldest
family maple producers
in southern New York,
from single buckets of
syrup in 1892, to miles
of sap lines today,
we’ve kept our quality high
and service unbeatable.

“Since early childhood
I’ve worked the entire
maple sap to syrup
process with my father and
grandfather - Dad still
boils at age 80, so we’ve
always kept it going strong.
Farming is something
that’s just in you.”

Visit us year round in
scenic Putnam Valley, NY,
at 136 Wiccoppee Road.
Enjoy our outdoor
festivals, weekend
pancake breakfasts
and lunches from
March through November!

“We look forward
to providing you with
some of nature’s
greatest gifts”.

Glenn Niese, Owner
Niese’s Maple Farm
proudly participates
in the annual
New York Maple Festival
& Open House
on the
last two weekends of March.
We’ve been demonstrating
tree tapping
and how we boil
sap to make syrup
thirty years!

As Certified Maple
, we share our
knowledge and history
all year long. Any group
can contact us for
an authentic tour and
learning experience.
Scouts, students, seniors
and tots are all welcome!

“We provide hearty
pancake breakfasts and lunches
at every event or class
for up to 60 people that
can’t be beat.”
